May 12, 2006 - Specialty retailer Anthropologie, Philadelphia, has recently opened a two-story, 22,000-sq.-ft. store in New York's Rockefeller Center, reports Women's Wear Daily. The store opens with a marquee out front with the retailer's name (it was formerly home to a movie theater), WWD reports, and inside the main floor features high ceilings, while the mezzanine is trimmed by a wrought iron railing. "It's one of the physically most attractive stores I've seen in a long time," said Richard Jaffe, a retail analyst at Stifel Nicolaus, to WWD.
